Farne Island
Another light bitter for this particular session. Interestingly, or otherwise, there is no such place as Farne Island anymore – I believe it is the largest island of the Inner Group of the Farne Islands and is now called Inner Farne. The Farne Islands are found off the coast of Northumberland, and number anything between 15 to 20 or more, depending on the state of the tide at that particular time. This knoweldge was not gained from drinking the beer, but rather from researching Wikipedia on the subject while in the pub. Geeky engineers, eh? Nice beer though!
